Examples of future animals

I will give some examples of animals and what they can be like in the future. Animal behavior will probably change a lot and it can be fun to imagine what will be in the future. Of course we have no evidence for that these animals will exist in the future but it is interesting to see what kind of animals we can expect.
Water elephants
Even today elephants can swim. But now we are talking about a water living elephant. The trunk can be used to breath when it's under water. It eats plants that grows in water. The clumsy foots will be more flat to it's easier to swim. Maybe it don't need to go up from water at any time.
Beach bears
Bears without any front arms. It lives near water. The front arms is only in the way so it swims with it's back legs. The body is more flat so it floats better. When the beach bear is not in water it lays on the beach and rest almost like walrus. The food is birds. Some birds dive down to catch fish. The bear dive after and catch the bird and eats it.
Hairy monkeys
This is a extremely hairy monkey. The most of the hair is on the backside of the body. In the hair insects wants to live. Very much insects! Monkeys lives in flocks so the monkeys pick these insects from each other and eat them. They don't have to move much. They only have to eat and sleep.
Hunter worms
These are worms that lives in the ground. It can lie and wait for vibrations. When it feel that something is over it the worm jump up and dig into this animal. Inside the animal it can eat as much it wants and it's a perfect place to lay the eggs.
Green horse
This is actually a white horse that rub itself against the grass so it gets green. The reason why it wants to be green is that it wants to hide from big birds that eats horses. The horses lives in an open land with almost no other plants than grass.
Floating bird hunting pelican
This is a pelican that hunt other smaller birds. It floats in the water with only its open beak over the waterline. When another bird see this it believes that it is a small thing that it can land on so when it lands on it the beak closes and the pelican have its food.
Thief Chameleons
It is a chameleon that use its possibility to change color to steal food from other animals. It climbs up on an animal and nail itself on the head and waits until the animal eats. Then it steal the food with its long tongue. This tactic can only be used on some animals that don't manage to take it away and the animals food have to fit a chameleon. These thief chameleons have good claws so it don't fall of animals too easy.
Zebra lion
This is a lion that have black and white stripes like a zebra. Many zebras will believe that a zebra lion is a zebra but the zebra lions still have to work hard for their food. Lions don't have the same shape as a zebra so if a zebra take an extra look it might notice that it isn't a zebra and run away. Zebra lions doesn't only hunt zebras. Other animal will also think that they are a zebra and will be easier to catch.
